Chaam Beach

North and south beach

The beaches in Cha-Am are devides to the north beach and to the south beach.
The dividing line is the end of the Narathip road. The Narathip road is the road, which leads from the traffic light at the Phet Kasem road to the beach. The beach road is called Ruamjit soi.
A beach sunset you will not see because Cha-Am beach is located to the east and so you can enjoy a wounderful sunrise - if you get up early!

At the north beach of Cha-Am you find on some kilometers white beach, about 50 meters wide. The first kilometer of the north is more sandy beach, at the last kilometers are some pine trees at the beach, which gaves natural shade.

The more you go to the north, the less people you will find at the beachfront.
The north beach ends at the Cha-Am fishing harbour, at the fishing village.

But if you go further to the north, you will also find on many kilometers white beach with nearly no people. Maybe some children are playing there or some fishing man will cross your path.

The south beach of Cha-Am is more quite, you will not find many people there. in the beginning of the south beach you find also sandy white beach. Here is also the famous Soi Bus Station, where you find about 100 bars in a small road.

The more you go to the south, the more small rocks you find at the beach. At a long part of the south beach of Cha-Am, you cant reach the water easily, because there are bigger rocks and no sand. At the south beach you find also some luxury hotels and some luxury houses.
